SlamStack!

SlamStack! is falling blocks with real physics: every block is a solid 50 cm cube with weight, friction and momentum.

Steer each piece while it falls. When it touches the stack you get a split second of after-touch, then physics takes over. Pieces tip, slide and topple. Fill a one-block band and it gets sliced clean out, even if the blocks landed at an angle, and whatever sits above crashes down into the gap.

Then SLAM. A hard drop hits the stack at full speed and sends out a shockwave that knocks nearby blocks loose. Use it to settle a messy stack, or to wreck it.

macOS note: the app isn't notarized yet. The first time, right-click SlamStack → Open → Open. If macOS says the app is "damaged", run xattr -cr /path/to/SlamStack.app in Terminal. Installing through the itch.io app avoids this.

Linux note: start it with play.sh (the itch.io app does this for you).
